Serving the communities of Trochu, Rumsey, Huxley, Torrington and Wimborne
Trochu Neighbourhood Place will be:
- Raising awareness about the need for local foster and adoptive homes, as well as support for foster parents
- Assessing the local need for licensed day care or day homes in the surrounding communites
- Increasing awarness about family violence and bullying and the communities' willingness to address these issues - working with School Wellness Workers, School Resource Officer
- Partnering with organizations such as Parent Link, FCSS (Family and Community Support Services), Children's Mental Health, and other community organizations to help support and inform parents
Trochu Neighbourhood Place does not:
- Deliver services or programs
- Provide funding for programs or services
- Duplicate existing programs or services
